Looking for a really quick dinner idea? How about this:
-Cook your favorite rotini pasta (you know I recommend whole wheat!)
-Add a back of mixed frozen vegetables to the water for the last 5 minutes of the pasta cooking time
-Drain the pasta and vegetables and add a jar of tomato sauce-Tim and I have been using the reduced sodium kind. Takes some getting used to, but overall still very good!
BAM! A nice healthy, quick dish. If you want to add some quick protein you can use the pre-packaged chunks of chicken they make (in the deli section of the grocery store) or some leftovers from dinner the night before. Or you could really go crazy and add some turkey italian sausage-YUM!
